In northern Morocco, a five-year-old boy fell into a deep well in his village of Bab Berred near the city of Tamorot on Tuesday evening (February 1). The boy fell as far as 32 meters into the narrowing pit, making the rescue particularly difficult. Rescue workers were able to get close to the boy with excavators, but they have still not been able to get him out of the well.
