That was one defeat too many: Bundesliga handball club SC DHfK Leipzig is parting ways with head coach André Haber. Now assistant coach Milos Putera should judge it in the cup on Wednesday.
The SC DHfK Handball has parted ways with head coach André Haber with immediate effect. The club announced this in a press release one day after the clear defeat at SC Magdeburg. The head coaching position should initially be accompanied by the previous assistant coach Milos Putera, with youth coordinator Matthias Albrecht supporting him. Already on Wednesday both will take over the lead in the cup game against the Rhein-Neckar Löwen.

Managing Director Karsten Günther explained: “Making this decision was brutal, but unavoidable in the interests of the club. André has worked very successfully and loyally for our club in various positions for 15 years. He was instrumental in making us a stable Bundesliga team Now everyone in the team is challenged even more to defend this status and get back on the road to success.”

The Leipzig team is currently third from last in the table with only four points.
