Arsenal have impressively defended their lead in the Premier League. Thanks in part to a brace from ex-Hoffenheimer Reiss Nelson (49th minute/52nd), the Gunners beat Nottingham Forest 5-0 (1-0) on Sunday.

Gabriel Martinelli (5th), Thomas Partey (57th) and captain Martin Ødegaard (78th) scored the other goals for coach Mikel Arteta’s team. The Londoners are two points ahead of Manchester City in the table. The defending champions beat Leicester City 1-0 on Saturday. The promoted team from Nottingham remains last.
