According to the head coaches, the match between KooKoo and Jukurei did not go well with the judges.

Head coach of the Jukurs Olli Jokinen and the KooKoo pilot Olli Salo after Friday’s SM league round, they gave a fiery feedback to the judges.
– I expect that if we are talking about professional referees, they would also be at the level of the game, Jokinen added at the press conference after the match.
Emotions heated up in the second set, when KooKoon Toni Suuronen tackled the host team Linus Nässen. The Swedish defender limped off to the locker room.
Someone got nervous and yelled at the judges. Soon the conversation also heated up with the colleague, when the pilot started shouting at Salo.
Salo seemed to be shouting at least Jukurien in the TV pictures Juhamatti Aaltonen and to the judges.
After a long deliberation by the jury, Suuronen was suspended for two minutes. Salo said at the press conference that he would accept the punishment, but criticized the actions of the judges.
– The way the jury acted… It took a long time. There was a commercial break, and I didn’t even bother. We already went to the start. Suddenly, a situation appeared on the video cube. Came to the hut, started to demand ice. After that, the judges let it go.
– Everyone can see that when the tackle happened, the referee was right next to it. The hand doesn’t go up, nothing. It can’t work like this. They can’t suddenly make their own rules.
“I have tried to understand”

In Jokinen’s opinion, Suuronen’s situation was not the only one that went wrong.
– We had one player break his arm. Last exchange of the second period, ax blow to hands, hand cut. There was also a knee strike at the end of the game. These go to discipline.
According to the Jukurit coach, more penalties should have been whistled for both teams in the match.
KooKoo got three two-minute ice-outs, Jukurit none.
– Especially in the second set, we could have given many holdovers. I’ve been trying to understand the rule book. If the hands go around, it should be cool.
Jukurit won the match 4–1.
