Drake and 21 Savage’s ‘Her Loss’ album is out on 11/04. postponed

The release of the collaborative album HER LOSS by Drake and 21 Savage has been postponed by a week. The reason is the corona infection of the producer Noah “40” Shebib. Drake informed his fans about the illness in an Instagram story on Wednesday (October 26th) and at the same time announced November 4th as the new release date.

Shebib has worked with Drake since 2005, including SO FAR GONE, NOTHING WAS THE SAME, VIEWS and SCORPION. Alongside Drake and his manager Oliver El-Khatib, he is one of the three founders of the OVO-Sound label.

A scene from the music video was re-released “Jimmy Cook’s”. The upcoming album could be an important step for Drake, since his last album HONESTLY, NEVERMIND, despite reaching number 1 in the Billboard 200 charts, had to take a lot of criticism from his fans because Drake largely avoided rap on the album and instead moved in house.

To which he only replied: “It’s ok if you don’t understand it yet. That’s our job. We’re just waiting for you to understand. We got it a long time ago. On to the next project. My goodness!”

So the fans want a rap album from the Canadian – and at 21 Savage he might just have the right one. 21 Savage rarely does anything other than rap – and achieved platinum status in the US with his two studio albums ISSA ALBUM (2017) and I AM > I WAS (2018).
