The legend of heavy metal music Iron Maiden arrives in Finland for a concert.
The metal band Iron Maiden will go on a tour called Future Past next year, one of which will be at Tampere’s Nokia Arena.
The tour arrives in Finland on the third day of June.
The band announces that the tour will feature songs from the latest Senjutsu album that have not been heard live before. In addition, the band’s setlist for the tour will focus on songs from the 1986 album Somewhere In Time, as well as other iconic band classics.
JOHN McMURTRIE
– We’ve had a lot of requests from fans over the years for many songs from the Somewhere in time album, so we’re now going to play them and of course a few others that we know the audience will like! It is also especially gratifying to finally be able to play more Senjutsu songs, this has been awaited for a long time, Iron Maiden’s bassist Steve Harris says in the band’s announcement.
The Senjutsu album, released in September 2021, reached number one in 27 countries. The opening act for the Finnish gig will be announced later. Tickets for the gig go on sale on November 4.
The band was last seen in Tampere in 2008 on the Somewhere back in time tour.
