No demolition site on the border between Waregem and Kruisem

The neighborhood on the Waregem side feared nuisance due to the dust and traffic hindrance from arriving and departing freight traffic. The city of Waregem gave negative advice, for Kruisem such a demolition site was possible on a few conditions. But in the end it was the East Flemish deputation that should make the decision, but it will not come to that: according to the province, the application was already withdrawn in June.
