VfL Wolfsburg gets second group win in the Champions League

In the group stage of the Champions League, the VfL Wolfsburg soccer team clinched their second win. The German champions deservedly won 2-0 (1-0) at Czech club Slavia Prague and remain the leaders in Group B.

Offensive player Jule Brand gave the guests the lead in the 11th minute. Ewa Pajor scored the final score with her goal (76th minute). Captain Svenja Huth prepared both goals.

At the start, the Wolfsburg women had defeated the Austrians from SKN St. Pölten 4-0. The Wolves also won against their long-time rival FC Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
