The courier who brought the package unsuspectingly rang the door buzzer. He didn’t know how to wait for a grim-looking make-up artist to come to the door with blood on his hands.
Once upon a time there was a not-so-ordinary weekday morning. Makeup artist Toni Ahonen decided to film a Halloween make-up video in the morning to their social media.
He knew that a couple of packages would arrive during the same day, but there was no certainty about the time. Three hours from the start of the make-up, she had come a long way.
He had already made himself look like a familiar character called Jigsaw from the Saw movie series. He had also been playing with the fake blood that covered his hands.
Then the information came that the package could be picked up at the bottom door.
– I didn’t know how to expect a package so early, Toni says with a laugh.
The make-up artist decided to remedy the situation. He tried to cover the artificial blood with gloves and his face behind sunglasses.
However, this was not much help and Ahonen realized that he looked completely crazy. This same thought was also visible on the face of the parcel courier.
It also didn’t help that the bottom door of the make-up artist’s apartment was creaking like in a horror movie.
– You are welcome to be murdered, Ahonen tells how the situation seemed.
The package courier looked at the make-up artist in silence.
– That man’s expression was so upset. You’re joking, if you could have gotten a picture of it, Toni recalls a special encounter.
After a while, the package courier inquired if this person who looked like a character from a horror movie could be the one to whom the package belonged.
Yes. The package had come to the right person.
Ahonen says that he usually tries to avoid human contact if he is testing a little more special make-up. This encounter serves as a reminder that it has been a good practice.
