According to the statement made by the Turkish Weightlifting Federation, Ali Oflaz, who competed in young men’s +109 kilograms on the last day of the organization, became the European champion by winning the gold medal with 161 kilograms in snatch, silver with 201 kilograms in clean and jerk and a gold medal with a total of 362 kilograms.
Nationals finished the championship with 46 medals, 19 gold, 21 silver and 6 bronze.
