Good day,
Rest in peace Mr. Mateschitz.
As controversial as his personality may have been, his life’s work is enormous.
Soccer fanatics & diehards may stone me, but the world would be a far better place with more rich people like him, like D. Hopp or B. Gates. Your contribution to society is enormous. One begrudges such people their wealth from the heart.
I wish family, friends & environment a lot of strength & my heartfelt condolences.
Edit: Even though I commented myself, I don’t know if perhaps it would have been better to disable commenting on this article. With reference to the previous poster (as long as it is still visible, it will probably be lawfully removed shortly).

Surely among the super rich in this world there are such people and such. Some may be more social, others less.
However, I don’t think there is a need for more people like Mateschitz, Hopp or Gates in this world. I don’t want to question the fact that these people worked hard for their fortune, but it can’t really be in the interests of humanity if there are more billionaires like this, while some people can barely pay their rent despite working 40 hours a day and in other parts of the world millions of people are at risk of starvation. In my opinion no human being should have that much cash, but of course that’s just my personal opinion.
That’s not meant to be a criticism of Mateschitz as a person, just can’t really sign your statement.
Regardless of that, of course, rest in peace.
