Barcelona’s long-time top defender Gerard Pique and a musician Shakira shook up a few weeks ago when the couple announced their separation. The soccer star is suspected of cheating on his girlfriend.
There is more trouble ahead for Piqué, according to the ESPN correspondent by Moisés Llorens the information is correct.
Llorens says that Barcelona would cooperate with Shakira in the future. The popstar would be getting the same Barcelona promotional shirt as the rapper Drake.
Barcelona celebrated Drake’s 50 billionth Spotify download at El Clásico. The customized shirt read Drake on the back and the game number was naturally the number 50. The front was shaped with a large owl logo known as Drake’s brand. The team wore shirts during the warm-up.
The exact realization of the Shakira project is not known, but it is thought to come during this season.
To “tease” Piqué, Shakira is releasing new music. New single Monotony strongly refers to a relationship with a football player that went wrong from the lyrics.
In the future, Piqué may have to warm to his ex-girlfriend’s name on his back while the pop star’s new music is being played in the stadium.
Sharkira and Piqué have two children together. The couple started dating 12 years ago, but they never got married. There have been disputes over the division of property and custody of the children.
