The Grizzlys Wolfsburg have clinched their third win in a row in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).
The semi-finalists of the previous season prevailed on Thursday evening (October 20th, 2022) at the Augsburg Panthers 3: 2 (1: 1, 1: 1, 1: 0) and, with 22 points after twelve games, initially moved up to third place .
Dominik Bittner (6th), Spencer Machacek (30th) and Jean-Christophe Beaudin (47th) scored for coach Mike Stewart’s team, Christian Hanke (10th) and Adam Payerl (26th) scored the goals for Augsburg.
After the third defeat in a row, the Augsburgers slipped to the first relegation zone with twelve points.
