Fan climbs onto Iron Maiden on stage, Dickinson throws him off

For a Californian metal fan it must have been the highlight of the evening, but Iron Maiden singer Dickinson was obviously rather annoyed. When interacting at a concert in the city of Anaheim, he promptly pushed the fan back towards the edge of the stage.

Concert-goers captured the moment in a video. The band had just started playing the classic “Aces High” when the fan made their way over a couple of amps to center stage. There he enthusiastically showed guitarist Janick Gerst his metal fries fork and headbanged across the stage.

Apparently, singer Bruce Dickinson wanted to regain control of her performance. Gesturing, he tried to get the fan to leave the stage again. When he didn’t listen to him, he grabbed his t-shirt collar and pushed him in the direction of the security guards, who finally carried the intruder off the stage. Particularly impressive: Throughout the scene, Dickinson continued to sing as if nothing had happened.

The beginning of the video shows that Dickinson is by no means averse to interacting with fans as long as it takes place in front of the stage and not on it: there you can see how the singer rushes to the front of the stage to reach out his hand to a crowdsurfing wheelchair user. However, the crowdsurfer sinks back towards the ground before he can smack into Dickinson’s hand.
