Next spring, Nelose and Ruudu are looking for the brightest entertainer when the Tähdet, tähdet program returns.
The filming of the program is currently underway and the contestants are: stand up comedian Sami Hedbergartist legend Meiju Suvas, master impersonator Jarkko Tamminensinger Maria Lundmusical theater artist Lauri Mikkolasinger Sara Siipolaknown from the band Portion Boys Mikael Forsby and Konsta Hietanen, an actress returning to the program and defending her Tähdet, tähdet victory.
The center of the familiar program is still different music genres that change every week, into which the artists dive and boldly travel outside their comfort zone.
Tähdet, tähdet is based on the international The Ultimate Entertainer format, which differs from traditional singing competitions in that it primarily competes for the title of best entertainer. This season, the group of competitors consists of multi-talents from different fields of performing arts.
The show is now filming a seven-episode season, with the Hanoi Rocks legend acting as judges Sami YaffaJuuso Mäkilähde known from Radio Suomipop and Lilli Paasikivi, artistic director of the Finnish National Opera.
The season is hosted by Susanna Laine, who is a musical theater professional herself.
Maria Lund

Actress-singer Maria Lund, known for her musical stages and jazz interpretations, goes to the Tähdet tähdet competition to challenge herself above all else and is ready to surprise the general public with her versatility and ability to throw herself. In the competition, Maria plans to give a piece, whether it’s a ripping rock or a sizzling pop show.
Sami Hedberg

Sara Siipola is a young rising singing talent. Sara, perhaps still unknown to the general public, is now realizing her big dream when she gets to the Tähdet tähdet stage, and is ready to enchant everyone with her singing skills, her open-minded attitude and real female energy.
Mikael Forsby
Mikael Forsby Mojo Wilderness / Four
“My strength is that I have no shame filter”
Mikael Forsby is a musician and music producer known from the super popular Portion Boys. Although singing is not her main sport, this speedster enters the competition unashamedly and ready to entertain to the fullest. Mikael’s goal is to throw a proper party every time on the Tähdet tähdet stage.
Konsta Hietanen

“This season, I’m not in the status of an underdog, but the title of winner has to be defended in exactly one hundred glasses all the time”
The reigning Tähdet tähdet champion Konsta Hietanen charmed the viewers with her sincere and brave performance in the previous season. The boy and the lynx – the ex-footballer, also remembered from the movie, has become known to Finns as a musician and actor in recent years, especially in Secret Lives. Konsta is now going to use all the means and give his all when defending his title.
Meiju Suvas
Meiju Suvas Mojo Wilderness / Four
“I can no longer care too much about what others think, I’ll let it go!”
Meiju Suvas has been producing hits for five decades. Meiju is currently living the peak years of her life. His new attitude towards life is that the time of waiting and gloating is over, because for once we just live here. The woman intends to bring a new, fearless Meiju to the Tähdet tähdet competition.
Jarkko Tamminen
Jarkko Tamminen Mojo Wilderness / Four
“I’m going to bring the real Jarkko Tamminen to the stage.”
Master of a thousand characters, Jarkko Tamminen is known for his impersonation skills and comedy rhythm. Jarkko intends to conquer the Tähdet tähdet audience by throwing himself into the competition completely as himself, without forgetting what makes a good show.
Lauri Mikkola
Lauri Mikkola Mojo Wilderness / Four
“Each of my songs will be very difficult”
Helsinki City Theater’s successful musicals Kinky Boots and Priscilla’s Lauri Mikkola, who has excelled in leading roles in recent years, is a superb performer and a technical all-rounder. Lauri goes to the Tähdet tähdet program to challenge himself as a singer and conquer the hearts of the general public.
