Rich and low-income countries have exacerbated the explosion in economic inequality since the outbreak of the corona pandemic. The governments of those countries have cut spending on health, education and social protection, while refusing to raise taxes on the very rich. That is the view of Oxfam and Development Finance International (DFI).
