The police and the Public Prosecution Service have seen an increase in young criminals in the last three years. “We are talking, for example, about knife possession. If they get into a fight, someone is stabbed or threatened with a knife,” youth prosecutor Amrah Hertogs told Omrop Friesland. “We also see robberies or threats with a knife.”
