A 59-year-old moped driver and his 57-year-old passenger were seriously injured in an accident with a tractor.
As the police announced on Tuesday, the tractor driver drove on Monday afternoon in Heiligengrabe (Ostprignitz-Ruppin district) onto the narrower section of the road on Volkwiger Straße and hit the moped with his vehicle.
The driver and his passenger were taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter. The 59-year-old tractor driver was not injured. The exact cause of the accident is now being determined.
