DEL: Augsburg says goodbye to the table cellar

With the first away win in the fourth attempt, the Augsburg Panthers said goodbye to the bottom of the table in the German Ice Hockey League.

At the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, the Swabians won 4:2 (1:1, 2:1, 1:0) and drew level with the Franks on points.

David Warsofsky (11th), Mike Clarke (30th), David Stieler (35th) and Justin Volek (43rd) scored the goals for Augsburg. Ex-national goalkeeper Dennis Endras captured the victory in front of 4238 spectators and only allowed Oliver Mebus (13th) and Greg MacLeod (32nd) to concede.
