“The West does not want to see us free. It wants to see us as a mob of slaves,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a new speech announcing the annexation of four occupied Ukrainian regions. According to Putin, the annexation will partly correct ‘the injustice of the disintegration of the Soviet Union’.
