The juice channels often mention Frans Bauer as the only Dutch celebrity who can be trusted. The folk singer has been with his wife Mariska for many years and even the juice channels themselves don’t expect him to ever get their turn. They have a firm belief in the 48-year-old artist, who was born François Bauer.
Mariska reacts
Mariska is asked about it in an interview with the Girlfriend. “In this age of juice channels that ‘out’ famous men when they cheat, Frans is often mentioned as the only celebrity they trust. Are you also doing that for the full one hundred percent?”, asks the magazine.
She answers confidently: “Anyway. If you don’t, you shouldn’t stay with anyone, right? Once a break, always a break, that’s how I see it.”
‘Then it’s done’
What if Frans ends up on a juice channel with his pants around his ankles? “Frans doesn’t do a crooked skate, I’m sure of that. But if so, then it’s done.”
She continues: “And vice versa, too. You can cheat, but after six weeks it’s the same with that new woman or man. The grass is certainly not greener at the neighbors, there are also just weeds in between. Well, except with my neighbor. It has a really nice green turf, even more beautiful than mine!”
Panties to head
The appeal of Frans has also faded a bit, says Mariska. “In the past, Frans still got panties thrown at his head on stage, but that is no longer the case, dude. I could never be so concerned about it, because what is that?”
Finally, Mariska lets you know that she knows no jealousy. In the end, we are all equal, she says. “When we go to the toilet, we all smell the same.”
