HV Veerhuys has won a very entertaining game against FCK De Hommel in the Eredivisie tonight. The Hoorn futsal association made it unnecessarily exciting, but eventually won 4-3.
HV Veerhuys already booked a nice victory over Leekster Eagles last week and also performed well against the opponent from Den Bosch today. The team of coach Najib Taki came in 1-0 with a goal from Jesse Koeman. The opening goal was defused by the equalizer of Adil Zouthane. Thanks to Jeffrey de Moel’s 2-1, Veerhuys still went into the break with a lead.
Unexpectedly exciting
After tea, HV Veerhuys showed his best game and the team took a comfortable 4-1 lead thanks to goals from Thijs Nugter and David Albert. HV Veerhuys seemed to be heading for an even more generous victory, but two quick hits by De Hommel threw a spanner in the works: 4-3. This made it unexpectedly exciting in the final phase. Goalkeeper Marcel Ons, however, was able to distinguish himself with a few important saves and so the three points remained in Hoorn.

Hovocubo and Lebo convince
Hovocubo easily won his match against AGOVV. The West Frisians scored six goals together. Small blemish on the result was the goal against in the final phase: 6-1. ASV Lebo also had an easy evening. The team from Amsterdam also won 6-1. Leekster Eagles was simply put aside.
Where Hovocubo and Lebo put the same result on the scoreboard, Volendam and VNS United from Amsterdam did the same. In Vlissingen, Volendam was beaten 6-4 by Groene Ster. PhD student VNS United had to process the same result in Limburg. Tigers Roermond was too strong 6-4.
The last game of this round will be played tomorrow. FC Marlène can go to the Wadden Islands to take on Texel ’94.
