On the occasion of Paris Fashion Week, the French auction house Artcurial is presenting an important German private collection “100 Lots” with drawings, posters and photographs by Karl Lagerfeld.
The auction offer includes, among other things, a drawing for the Chanel Métiers d’Art collection “Paris-Salzburg” from 2014, which was made with felt-tip and grease-pen and accentuated with Tipp-Ex colours. The estimated price is between 2,500 and 3,000 euros. The collection also includes two colorful photographs by the famous American fashion journalist André Léon Talley. The estimated price is between 100 and 200 euros.
The preview for this purely digital auction will take place at the Hôtel Marcel Dassault on the Champs Elysées. At the same time, works by hair artist Charlie Le Mindu and a selection of models designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel will be on display.
The auction starts on September 27th and ends on October 4th, 2022.
