Jasper Philipsen wins Omloop van het Houtland

Philipsen was faster than Arnaud De Lie (Lotto-Soudal) and Dylan Groenewegen (Team BikeExchange – Jayco). The eighth victory of the season for the Limburger from Alpecin-Deceuninck. The Omloop van het Houtland turned out to be an expected bunch sprint. The peloton managed to catch up with the leading group just before the last straight line in Lichtervelde. Three people from West Flanders were represented: Aaron WantsGianni Marchand and Warre Vangheluwe.
