The instructor of the ‘procés’ case in the Supreme Court, paul larenahe has concluded the summary regarding the former deputy of the CUP Anna Gabriel, after taking her statement on the 14th, once she voluntarily surrendered to the high court. Gabriel was prosecuted for a crime of disobedience on March 21, 2018.
In its order, it provides that testimony of the case be sent together with the intervened objects, the amounts consigned and/or occupied and the separate pieces corresponding to the competent Chamber to review the conclusion, prior summons to the parties for a term of fifteen days before the same. It will be at this moment when we proceed to send the proceedings to Catalonia, a criterion that has been maintained for all those prosecuted solely for disobedience.
The magistrate explains that in this summary an indictment was issued for a crime of disobedience against Anna Gabriel. After the appeal for reform filed by the defendant, the decision was confirmed by the instructor on May 9, 2018. Despite being a crime only punishable by a fine and disqualification, the former deputy of the cup fled to Switzerlandwhere he still resides.
In his car, he explains that the defendant put an end to his situation of rebellion by appearing before the judge on July 19; he gave an investigative statement on September 14, at which time he was placed on provisional release and available to the court.
The judge adds that his criminal history sheet has been obtained and that as many procedures as were deemed appropriate for the investigation have been carried out. enlightenment of the facts denounced, without new inquiries being requested.
