And also this year the Music festival for the little ones, now in its 65th edition, “Warms up the engines” in view of the transmission that will be broadcast on Rai 1 in November (it is scheduled for the weekend between 18 and 20 November) with the artistic direction of Carlo Conti. From today, in fact, the competing songs are available on all digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, iTunes).

The 14 songspicks up 550 proposalswere selected by a jury composed of Cristina D’Avena (which started right at Zecchino d’Oro, it was ’68 he sang The waltz of the gnat), Albi de The Welfare State, Andrea Mariano of the Negramaroand by exponents of the music press, teachers, music therapists, child neuropsychiatrists and representatives of the Antoniano. There are 17 little performers this yearthey will sing accompanied by Small Choir of the Antoniano always directed by Sabrina Simoni. And the pieces, with due lightness, address important and current issues ranging fromecology, the beauty of diversity, the relationship with parents and the family.
Some songs are signed by music greats like Checco Zalone, Enrico Ruggeri, Cesareo di Elio and the Tese Stories with Filippo Pax Pascuzzi, Margherita Vicario, Eugenio Cesaro degli Eugenio In Via Di Gioia, Deborah Iurato and Virginio.

Sweater of Cesareo di Elio and the Tese Stories
Davide Civaschiin art Cesareo by Elio and the Tense Storieswrote the music together with Filippo Pascuzzi (who also wrote the text) by Sweatersong sung by Massimiliano Peralta, 7 years old, of Sardinian origin. From the latin-rock rhythms, it is a sort of hymn to humor, in typical style Elio and the Tense Stories. Nonsense and neologisms come together, animating a fun and fast-paced song.

Lyrics and music by Margaret Vicar And Gianluca Giuseppe Servetti, Like King Kong is sung by Giulia Baccaro, 10 years old, of Gravina di Catania. It is a “baby dance” style track with strong rock influences. Talk about the importance of returning to nature. The message is clear: only by looking for our roots, moving away from the hyperactive and alienating society that overwhelms us, can we find inner peace and harmony.
