Sport director Hasan Salihamidzic from FC Bayern Munich looks back on a turbulent summer transfer phase in which numerous players were signed and ultimately some were given away. For four of these departures, the record champions will probably get a decent transfer fee afterwards.
This summer, FC Bayern parted ways with Marc Roca (Leeds United), Omar Richards (Nottingham Forest), Chris Richards (Crystal Palace) and Malik Tillman (Rangers FC), the latter initially only left Munich on loan.
They all have one thing in common: Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has anchored certain clauses in the transfer modalities with the respective new employers that could subsequently increase the transfer fee.
Leeds United paid 12 million euros for midfielder Roca. If the Spaniard plays at least 25 competitive games per season in all competitions for his new club, 1.25 million euros will be added, reports “Bild”.
Since the 25-year-old has signed a four-year contract, five million euros could subsequently go to FC Bayern.
FC Bayern waving up to 19.5 million euros in addition
The situation with Chris Richards is apparently similar, for whom 15 million euros have allegedly already migrated to Munich. Five more million could be added should he come to a certain number of competitive games. How many there are is not known.
The American’s transfer paper is also special: FC Bayern has a buyback clause that will make it possible to move back to Munich in the future.
In the case of Omar Richards, FC Bayern are waving loudly “picture“At least 2.5 million euros, provided the Englishman plays 60 percent of the games in a season. Instead of the original 8.5 million euros, it could end up being 11 million euros.
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic had meanwhile negotiated a rental fee of 500,000 euros for Nuremberg-born Malik Tillman. If the club from Glasgow decides on a permanent commitment via the contractually agreed purchase option, FC Bayern will receive an additional seven million euros.
All in all, the German record champions could ultimately earn up to an additional 19.5 million euros, provided that all clauses apply.
