Drug dealer and buyers caught in the act in Kortrijk

The drug team of the local criminal investigation department of PZ Vlas had been keeping an eye on someone who sold narcotics in the Stasegemsestraat area for several weeks. After a few short observations, they were able to catch and arrest both the dealer and 3 customers in the act on 31 August.

Then there were also searches at the address of the suspect in the Stasegemsestraat and at the buyers in Avelgem.

In total, more than 3 kg of cannabis, almost 150 grams of hashish and almost 12 grams of cocaine were found. In addition, the police also seized more than 18,000 euros in cash, a TV and Play Station 4.

All those involved have now been brought before the investigating judge. The seller, a 22-year-old man from Kortrijk, has been arrested.
