Yesterday debutedwho is the mask”, the new Telefe musical show with celebrities, hosted by the actress and singer Natalia Oreiro. And the program had a great impact on networks but also on the broadcast, achieving a rating peak of 15 points in its premiere, partly thanks to the very high floor that the final of “La Voz Argentina” left for it: en the final minutes, around 10:30 p.m., the reality show said goodbye measuring 17.6 rating points, against 9.8 points of “The 8 steps of the million”, Guido Kaczka’s program in El Trece
Since then the power has dropped for the two most important open channels. Telefé lost 2.6 rating points, and Marcelo Tinelli and his program “sing with me now”, another two points: his rating was only 6.8 points.
A low mark for Tinelli but not the worst in recent times: on November 22 of last year, “Showmatch” made the lowest average in its history: 5.7, losing to “Master Chef Celebrity”Telefe’s flagship program in 2021.
“Sing with me now” reflected in 2022 the channel’s request to Tinelli for a format renewal, but despite the great commitment, with a jury of 100 people made up of different celebrities (for which the height of the studio was raised almost four meters and its size to 1,200 square meters), the rating is in decline.
Both the Brazilian telenovela “Genesis” and “La Voz Argentina” won the rating arm-wrestling in that time slot: The rating for “Sing With Me Now” has averaged 9 points since it aired.
In El Trece they affirm that Tinelli “is putting up a fight” and that he is not giving up: he bets on the visual display, the virtuosity of his participants and the life stories that they bring to each broadcast. The defense is linked to a rumored departure of the star driver: this is the last year of the contract that unites the driver with Artear.
On the sidewalk in front, “Who is the mask”, the new Telefe show, has 24 masked celebrities who will have their voices distorted. Natalia Oreiro as host, will be in charge of moderating the interaction between the participants and the “researchers” (Lizy Tagliani, Wanda Nara, Karina “The Little Princess” and Roberto Moldavsky), who must unmask the camouflaged singers.
