The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee arrested two men at Groningen Airport Eelde last Thursday. The two had offered so-called look-a-like documents. However, they looked nothing like the photo on the document.
The Marechaussee checked a Spanish and an Italian document of the duo. Because the photo did not resemble the people in front of them, they investigated.
The investigation revealed that the men had Syrian nationality. They have entered the immigration process.
