Italy won the 2022 Men’s World Volleyball Championship, beating Poland 3-1.
In the final, played at the Spodek Sports Hall in Katowice, Poland, the host country’s team and Italy faced each other.
Italy won 3-1 from the field with sets of 22-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20.
Thus, Italy reached the first world championship since 1998 and the 4th in its history.
In the 3rd place match, Brazil defeated Slovenia 3-1.
