HCAW has taken a big step towards the third league title in club history. At Rotterdam, Neptunus was defeated 1-0. With that, it is now 3-0 in the best-of-seven series and HCAW only needs one more win to crown itself as national champion.
In the seventh inning, the Bussum-squad took the lead. Victor Draijer hit a solo homerun to give his team the win.
The two teams will face each other again on Saturday. Should HCAW win again, the Bussum-squad will be the champion of the Netherlands again for the first time since 1998.
