A World War II bomb weighing 500 kilograms was found during construction work in Berlin.

She was discovered on Saturday southeast of Autobahn 115 (Avus) in an allotment garden in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, as the police announced in the evening via Twitter.

The dud should be defused on Sunday morning by specialists from the State Criminal Police Office, it was said. The motorway and S-Bahn will therefore be blocked during the defusing.
