After completing the preliminary round of the European Championship in Cologne, the German basketball players know their plan for the final round in Berlin. The round of 16 on Saturday (6 p.m. / Magentasport) will face outsiders Montenegro.
A possible quarterfinal, which could take place against co-favorite Greece around NBA star player Giannis Antetokounmpo, is scheduled for Tuesday evening.
The exact time is still open. After that, both semi-finals will take place on Friday, as well as the match for third place and the final on Sunday.
In the event of success, the team of national coach Gordon Herbert would always have two days off before a possible semi-final. The round of 16 begins on Saturday (12:00 noon) with France against Turkey. After that (2.45 p.m.) Luka Doncic and defending champion Slovenia are challenged against the Belgians.
