Donny van de Beek makes a domestic transfer in England. The former Ajax player, who left Ajax for Manchester United in 2020, will finish the season on a rental basis at Everton. There, the 24-year-old midfielder becomes teammate of Anwar El Ghazi, with whom he also played at Ajax.
In the summer, Van de Beek already seemed to be on his way to Everton, but then United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put a stop to a rental. Van de Beek would get more time to play, but the number of minutes played by the midfielder is also limited under current manager Ralf Rangnick.
Until the end of the season, Van de Beek, who played at Ajax from 2008 to 2020, will be rented by Everton. The Liverpool club also wanted an option to buy, but United do not want to cooperate.
