Before the start of the competitive game with the cup game at Viktoria Berlin (Sunday, 4 p.m.), Turbine Potsdam has strengthened with defender Louisa Aniwaa.
The 19-year-old is the current U20 national player for Ghana and most recently played in all three preliminary round games in her home country at the U20 World Cup in Costa Rica.
For the Potsdam team, she was on the pitch for the first time for 30 minutes in central defense in a friendly against RB Leipzig (2-1) on Sunday.
“I’m very happy to be here in Potsdam and to be able to play for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the Bundesliga,” said Aniwaa in a club statement I am very excited about it.”
In her home country, Aniwaa was last on the ball with Police Ladies FC. No information was given about the contract period. Louisa Aniwaa is the 16th addition to Trainer’s newly formed Turbine team Sebastian Middeke. In return, 14 players left the women’s Bundesliga team in the summer
