Kukuk wins Global Champions Tour

Christian Kukuk won the jumping of the Global Champions Tour in Rome. The rider from Riesenbeck prevailed in the 300,000 euro test in Mumbai.

In the jump-off, the pair showed the fastest clear ride. The 32-year-old received 100,000 euros for his success in the million series.

Daniel Deußer, who lives in Belgium, also reached the jump-off with Tobago, but had to settle for ninth place after a knockdown.

Rome was the 13th of 15 stops in the series. Christian Ahlmann from Marl continues to lead the overall ranking. Second is now Brit Ban Maher, who finished second in Rome with Faltic.
