In March, Luke Mockridge (33) returned to the stage after a long break with his new program: “A Way back to Luckyland”. Now his TV comeback is to follow.
After allegations of rape by his ex-girlfriend and allegations by other women, the comedian withdrew completely from the public last year, took a career break and had psychological treatment.
In the Sat.1 show “The best comedians in Germany”, Mockridge is said to be back on television for the first time since his TV break.
Twelve comedians present “the finest and best excerpts from their current programs in a gala of Germany’s most successful stand-up comedians,” the broadcaster said in a press release.
In addition to Luke Mockridge, Abdelkarim, Lisa Feller, Chris Tall, Markus Krebs, Ralf Schmitz, Kaya Yanar, Mirja Boes, Dieter Nuhr, Maria Clara Groppler, Paul Panzer and the Ukrainian comedian Olga Stetsenko will also be there.
The show will be recorded on October 24 as part of this year’s Cologne Comedy Festival and will be broadcast on TV in early 2023.
But: “Other than that, we currently have no concrete plans for a new show with Luke,” said Sat.1 spokesman Christoph Körfer when asked by the industry service “DWDL”. (imu)
