Where and with whom do you live?
‘I live with my father Jaap (53), mother Moniek (40), sister Charlie (7) and little sister Teddie (3). We also have a lot of pets: Tankie dog, 9 week old cat Hooter, red male Moped and cat Pret, which we had when I was still in nursery. Now we live in Amsterdam, but we are about to move to Haarlem.’
What are your hobbies?
‘I like to read Donald Ducks. I got a subscription for my birthday, so now I get it every week. But I think that’s actually too little; I can read ten a week! I also like to play hockey, dance and draw. I dance at BeatZone, where I just got into the preselection of street dance. I also play hockey three times a week: two training sessions and a match.’
Who are your best friends?
“I have six best friends. My very best friend is Cleo and then Kate, Anna, Aimée, Freya and Lulu. I won’t be going to school with them anymore because we’re moving. I’m sorry, but I can still see them. I’m in the same hockey team with Anna and Kate, for example, and I’m in the same dance group with Cleo.’
What do you really dislike?
‘Reading books. For example, I don’t like Harry Potter at all. I always call it Harry Snotter. I just don’t get it; one minute they’re in a house and then suddenly they’re with a professor.’
If you had a superpower, what would you like to be able to do?
‘Fly! Then I would take all my friends by the hand, so that they would also have that power and then we would fly around the world together like a bird. And then we’ll take a lot of Donald Ducks with us.’
What are you afraid of?
‘For frogs, because I’m always afraid they’ll jump on me. And I can get scared of Teddie sometimes, because she can get really angry. Sometimes I try to make it up to you, but if I can’t, I just hide for a while.’
Who always makes you laugh really hard?
“Funnily enough, so is Teddie. She really is a joker.’
What do you do in ten years?
‘Then I think I’ll live with Cleo in Amsterdam and study. I would like to become a teacher, and I recently heard that you can also become a drawing teacher. That’s what I want most. Oh, and I’d like to babysit the cutest kids. Then we’ll eat ice cream together with up to five scoops.’
