Hyvinkää and Vimpeli advanced to the semi-finals in the men’s Superpesi.

The men’s Superpesis semi-final pairs were decided on Thursday evening, when Vimpelin Veto and Hyvinkää Tahko advanced from the quarter-finals to the next round.
Previously, Joensuu Maila and Manse PP had advanced to the semi-finals.
Hyvinkää beat Kouvola 3–1 in their own quarter-final series. The game that decided the series in Pihkala was decided by Hyvinkää after a home run. He hit the decisive run Santtu Patova.
Kouvola was left out of the semifinals last time in 2015. Hyvinkää, on the other hand, made it to the top four for the first time in eight years.
Vimpeli, on the other hand, managed to beat Kitee also with a 3–1 win. Vimpeli won the last match of the series 0–1.
With the end of Kristi’s season, the nesting legend ended Sami Partanen a long career. The 43-year-old Partanen had time to play in Superpesis for 26 seasons. The only person ahead of him in the all-time match statistics has also ended his career this season Toni Kohonen.
The men’s semifinal pairs are Manse–Hyvinkää and Vimpeli–Joensuu.
