In North Holland economic growth amounted to 10 percent, followed by Zeeland (plus 8 percent) and North Brabant (plus 5 percent). Haarlemmermeer and Amsterdam provided the above-average growth in North Holland. The economy of Haarlemmermeer grew the fastest, at about 21 percent. This was due to the increased air traffic at Schiphol compared to a year ago, when travel restrictions were still in place.
