The chance of surviving cancer has increased ‘significantly’. This is apparent from figures from the Comprehensive Cancer Center of the Netherlands (IKNL), which are published today. With faster diagnoses and better treatments, it is now possible to keep 66 percent of patients alive in the first five years after diagnosis. And experts expect that increase to continue.
