Win: 7-LP Box “Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years”

On August 21, Joe Strummer would have been 70 years old. To mark the birthday, a box set will be released to celebrate his work with the Mescaleros. It contains unreleased songs, demos and outtakes. Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years is out September 16th.

We’re giving away a 7-LP box set of “Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years”

The box set includes remixed editions of all three of the Mescaleros’ studio albums: Rock Art and the X-Ray Style, Global A Go-Go and Streetcore. There are also 15 unreleased songs and the first demos that Strummer wrote for the band. Also included are outtakes, interviews with Joe’s friends and Mescalero’s bandmates, and notes, lyrics and drawings by Strummer.
