Someone was injured in a collision between two cars in New Amsterdam tonight. The accident happened at an intersection on Bedrijvenweg, on the far north side of the village.
The vehicles collided with each other around 8 p.m. The driver of one of the vehicles was checked for injuries by paramedics, and was then taken to hospital for further examination.
A recovery company has towed one of the vehicles. It is unknown how the accident could have happened.
