Van Roosmalen is a multiple kickboxing world champion, who actually had big plans in the mixed martial arts (MMA) discipline. But last year’s serious accident thwarted his plans, split his muscles and made sure he is full of ironwork. “It is with pain and acceptance that I announce the end of my career. A painful, but realistic message that helps me close this chapter of my life in peace. I’ve worked hard for the last 1.5 years, but I realize that I’m not going to get back to my old level.”
