Germany’s volleyball players lose World Cup test against the Netherlands

The German volleyball players lost the first test match against the Netherlands in preparation for the World Cup.

The team of national coach Michal Winiarski lost 1:3 (22:25, 25:22, 28:30, 19:25) in Rotterdam on Thursday.

On Friday (7:30 p.m.) the selection of the German Volleyball Association will complete another test against the Netherlands.

The World Championships will take place in Poland and Slovenia from August 26th to September 11th. Germany meets in Ljubljana in Group D against Olympic champions France (August 26), Cameroon (August 28) and hosts Slovenia (August 30).

Most recently, the DVV team took twelfth place when the French won the Nations League.
