The fire brigade was able to prevent a forest fire from growing into a larger fire at Pesse this afternoon. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames on a site on Hendrik Reindersweg.
It is still unknown how the fire started. Several fire trucks came to Pesse to help put out the fire. The fire trucks used an adjacent field to get close to the seat of the fire.
