At around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday night, a van belonging to a company on Plonzstrasse in Berlin-Lichtenberg was severely damaged by arson.
Shortly before midnight, a man who was driving on Plonzstrasse at the time noticed the glow of fire on a car parked on the side of the road, a spokesman for the Berlin police said.
The fire brigade extinguished the van, which was on fire in the front area.
Only about a week ago, a transporter had burned down in the same street and a car-sharing vehicle in Gotlindestrasse, and various vehicles were also on fire in the vicinity.
In all cases, a fire department of the Berlin LKA determined.
The company van was heavily damaged. Nobody got hurt.
