Martina Aitolehti reveals in her book that marrying Esko Eerikäinen was a matter of guesswork.
Martina Aitolehti, 40, tells in her recent biography how she has purposefully pursued her dreams, despite some anger, commotion and belittlement.
Of course, her male relationships are also reviewed in the book.
After the secret affair with Alexei Eremenko, the public speculated who would be the man who would tame Martina.
The honor went to the dancer of the Scandinavian Hunks group, Esko Eerikäinen.
However, the beginning of the relationship was overshadowed by the fact that both were still busy. Martina lived as a model Kalle Kuvajan with. However, this turned out to be too nice for Martina, who was used to rolling, and the difference came when Esko stepped into the patterns.

If we do something, we do it big. That was the motto of Martina and Esko’s relationship from the beginning. They knew they were young, beautiful and invincible. The whole kingdom was interested in their relationship. The actual decision to go public with the relationship was not announced out loud, but neither of them had anything against flash lights and headlines.
The couple had had time to shine together for barely three months, when they already booked an appointment at the registry office.
The media loved the picture-perfect celebrity couple.
– It was really flattering, and really intoxicating, Esko describes in Martina’s biography.
– It was new to both of us that the media was always on our heels and paid for us to talk to them about our relationship, or for us to go to sunny beaches at their expense. Once that ball started rolling, there was no going back.
The wedding party that followed the marriage ceremony was already booked when Martina caught Esko, the frontman of Basic Element, by Peter Theleniuswith.
The club wedding was cancelled. However, Esko held a farewell party in Kamppi’s Lux nightclub at the time.
And no wonder, Martina also found her way there.
The biggest scumbags were smitten at the party, and the couple decided to go on a honeymoon to Colombia anyway, after all, the magazine had already paid for everything.
A new day was found for the wedding and it could be held, even though the bride stepped to the altar unsteadily. Martina had kicked her insecurities with a manly hop the night before and patched up her mood on the morning of the wedding with an entire bottle of white wine.
– The wedding was wonderful, I’m not saying that. Basically, everything was perfect and all our loved ones were at the party. I’ve still thought in retrospect that it’s good to get married if you have to pull the trigger, says Martina in the book.
In the spring and winter of 2009, the runners shouted that Marina and Esko were expecting their first child. And of course, the celebrity couple’s waiting, birth and first weeks of the baby were made into a reality TV show.
The couple was not only overjoyed but also terrified:
– I was just in the yard. I realized that now a ball has started to roll that cannot be stopped. The more publicity, the more anxious and, on the other hand, the more excited. I couldn’t have imagined how much publicity can be addictive, Esko recalls in the book.
Victoria was born in November 2009.
Martina and Esko divorced in 2011.
