Former U.S. embassy official in Russia Mark Vogel arrested on drug smuggling and possession charges, informs press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The police said that Vogel was detained at Sheremetyevo Airport. “The reason was the reaction of service dogs to his luggage, which are trained to detect prohibited substances. During customs control, marijuana and hash oil were found in the foreigner’s luggage,” the report says.
